2015-03 March Show & Tell

We had lots of Show & Tell this month.  The Challenge program produced many  finished projects, as you will see below.  We also had Linda Fritzsche present what we will be doing for the Material Girls Quilt of Valor initiative.

We will meet Tuesday March 31 at Little Shop of Stitches to start our Quilt of Valor program.  This is  BYOM – Bring Your Own Machine and a basic sewing kit.  If you cannot bring a machine there will be all kinds of activities you can help with or just keep the stitchers busy at their job.

The Presbyterian Stitchers made some wonderful crochet caps for the Maggie and Southview Hospital Neonatal Unit.  And Cyd also made several quilts for the babies at Southview.  And the Joey’s in Australia will be kept warm with the bags donated.
