!2012-01 January Show & Tell

It seems we were all anxious to get back into our quilting activities since we had a huge turnout for our January Meeting. We tried a new floor plan for the meeting and it seemed to work well except we have to use our “presentation voices” – or just speak a bit louder! Debbie H seems to have that handled!

Show and Tell projects will also be placed out for all to look at more closely after the meeting. We had a great demo on making a 10 Minute Block from Claire Olich. Really, 10 minutes including the cutting of fabric!! Pictures below

Fat Quarter Drawing winner Maggie Bauer – Maggie brought one and took home 26 white on white fat quarters!! We have started a small game of chance. Bring a fat quarter to the meeting and be entered in a drawing to ALL the fat quarters. Each monthly email will let you know what color to bring to the meeting.
